Welcome to the AudioGuts.com / .org blog.
The idea behind this site is to have an open and honest conversation about all things guts. We want this site to be THE SOURCE for you to research, repair, mod or clone your favorite audio machines.
Our aim is for this blog to work like a Wiki for information pertaining to audio equipment in one, searchable place. The scope is from support of what's out there, to finding sources to produce your dream product. Tools include schematics, best prices for parts and services... And of course, great free photos and links to equipment both common and rare.
We also plan to have a market watch feature that tracks related goods and services. Need service on your old PPI A600, no problem. Want custom graphics on your DC amplifier heat sink, here's a few people to talk to. What hardware is used on an old amplifier or subwoofer and where can you get the best price?.. Done, here's the link.
Users can submit photos, schematics and information both anonymously or take credit if they wish. Our intentions will be to give credit where credit is due. We may even grease the wheels with product from the Square Store. We'll need some sort of computer guru to help us keep track of course but we have no problems helping those whom help the idea grow.
Thank you and let our journey begin with a humble step.
